Integration of automated workflow into existing systems optimizes kit customization and delivers cost savings
CHALLENGE
A top 10 annuity and retirement company was struggling to optimize the customization and distribution of pre-sales marketing kits to their network of independent financial professionals. The client sought a solution that could integrate into their existing CRM and single sign-on (SSO) systems and increase user adoption across advisor channels.
Additionally, the client was locked into an existing contract with a local vendor that provided scale and shipping time efficiencies but lacked mechanisms to integrate into existing systems and improve kit compliancy.
SOLUTION
Veritas Document Solutions, an RRD company, proposed a front-end superfulfillment deployment solution that connected marketing strategy directly with marketing operations, enabling the client to manage and update all marketing materials in a self-serving manner.
Following a six-month solution design and build, the system reduced compliance risk by allocating by state and firm, and allowed the client’s marketing team to directly support their sales channels via personalized, authorized marketing material distribution.
Integrating directly into the client’s Salesforce interface and internal SSO systems, the backend system supported all on-demand, digital, and offset printing through to the inventory, fulfillment, and shipping processes.
RESULTS
RRD’s single-source solution streamlined all offset and digital printing mechanisms within the client's local market, reducing receiving times and repurposing internal resources previously focused on print. Additional results included:
- User adoption increased from 10% to over 40%, with incremental growth occurring daily
- Print and inventory costs across all forms decreased by 17% via kit accuracy improvements from on-demand production
