From creative concept to go-live postcards, client delivers "frustration free" UX
CHALLENGE
A major North American-based e-commerce company sought to work with a true partner to create a multimedia communications campaign that would drive awareness, direction, and employee engagement as the company transitioned to a new 401(k) provider.
SOLUTION
Following thorough discovery and analysis, RRD deployed a deep roster of creative services for the client's transition materials to new management of their 401(k) plan.
The solution included an overall creative concept, announcement email, transition brochures and envelopes, digital signage, and go-live postcards (mock-up at right).
In addition, we supported the new 401(k) provider with additional creative concepts to compliment the campaign for a web banner, workshop PowerPoint, and handouts.
RESULTS
Our account management team then managed the printing and deployment of materials across our commercial and PF&D operations platforms to complete the end-to-end execution successfully, across multiple RRD platforms.
A final tally of RRD's creative deliverables include:
- Initial creative concepts
- Transition announcement email
- 9.5 x 6 envelope
- Announcement poster
- Digi-sign design and PowerPoint
- Client transition brochure roll-fold
- Client transition brochure digital version
- Subsidiary of client transition brochure roll-fold

Not only did RRD provide consultative advice and insight throughout this nine month engagement, our flexibility proved invaluable. According to the client's Implementation Communications Consultant:
"In working with the RRD design and print team, we delivered a multimedia communications campaign for one of the biggest brands out there. There were design strategy summits, design concepts, weekly/bi-weekly status updates, and continuous working sessions to create that 'frustration free' experience for participants as they transitioned to new management of their 401(k)."
