Thinking beyond print helps an MCO client manage costs and execute EOBs
CHALLENGE
This Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) provides employer health benefits plans, dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, and more to its 700,000+ members in the Northeast. As a not-for-profit organization, they’re particularly aggressive about controlling costs. Their most pressing needs involved:
- Executing composition programming for 80 different EOB versions
- Lowering their archive costs
The relationship with an existing outsource provider was deteriorating, and they were seeking solutions elsewhere. RRD had been managing the MCO’s Medicare Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) and geo-coded directory mailings. With a solid relationship in place, they put RRD to the test in solving their EOB and archiving problems, too.
SOLUTION
